Step 2: Once the download is completed you need to place the folder in the root SD card of your phone.
Step 3: Now you need to go to the CWM Recovery or TWPR Recovery section and wipe data by choosing ‘Factory Reset’.
Step 4: Once your phone is in ‘Factory Reset’, choose ‘Wipe Cache’ option. You may want to take back-up of your phone before starting the Reset.
Step 5: Now go to the ‘Advanced’ option and select ‘Wipe Dalvik Cache’.
Step 6: Once done, come back to the CWM Recovery page and select ‘Choose Zip from SD Card’ option.
Step 7: You have already kept the custom ROM marshmallow update zip folder in your SD Card. Select the same.
Step 8: Once you select the zip folder, the update will start automatically. It’ll take some time to complete. Once it is done you’ll receive a notification about successful installation.
Step 9: Return to your home screen and reboot the phone. The reboot will take around 5 minutes to complete.
Step 10: Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Android Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy S3. Once your phone boots up, you’ll be able to use all the latest features of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Samsung Galaxy S3.
