Typeeto Mac App Review
Typing on your phone’s small screen has always been a challenge. Why settle for a cumbersome typing job on that congested screen when you can do it easily using your iMac or MacBook keyboard. Yes, it’s possible and Typeeto is the Mac app that makes it possible.
This app allows you to use your Mac keyboard as a universal keyboard. You can pair it with your iOS or Android devices and consoles.
How Does Typeeto Help?
Typeeto is an OS X program that you can use to type on the following devices using your Mac keyboard:
- Android smartphone/tablet
- iPod touch
- Apple TV
You can also connect any other device that can be paired with the keyboard over Bluetooth. Even your gaming consoles. There’s no need for using any other software at the receiving end.
You can use the app for typing within a range of 32 feet. The app may be capable of connecting to any number of devices, there is a limit of 8 connections for Bluetooth. But that’s more than enough to connect to all the mobile devices and consoles that you may have in your home or workplace.
The devices can be selected from the menu bar. You can also use an assigned custom keyboard shortcut so that you can instantly switch between the devices.
Once the device is connected, you will know about it in the form of an animation. Keyboard inputs are fed instantly on the device without any lag. It makes you feel that the keyboard is directly connected to the device.
It is recommended to initiate the connection from the device for even better results.
