Motorola, a company popular for bringing some of the best budget smart phones in the market is all set to launch the second generation Moto E smart phones.
Scheduled to be launched on 10th March’15 Moto E will the available exclusively on popular e-commerce website Flipkart.
This new version of Moto E, priced at INR 6999 for Indian market is expected to be one of the best entry level budget smart phones.
Camera: While the earlier version only have a 5 mega pixel primary camera without flash, the second generation Moto E will incorporate a VGA front camera for all you selfie enthusiasts out there.
OS platform: The earlier version of Moto E runs on Android KitKat version. But now you have a reason to smile, as the second generation one will come equipped with Andriod Lollipop version.
Hardware specification: The hardware of this new handset remains quite the same as the earlier version, with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 and 1 GB CPU RAM. The only change is the internal storage capacity. While the earlier version use to offer only 4 GB storage space, the second generation Moto E comes with a 8 GM internal memory which is expandable to 32 GM with microSD card.
Display: The display size has also changed slightly. While the earlier version had a display size of 4.3 inches, the second generation one comes with a 4.5 inch display.
Battery backup: With the 2,390mAh battery in the new version, over the 1980 mAh battery in the older version of Moto E, the company promises to provide a significantly longer battery backup with the new one.
New Feature: While these are the upgrades Motorola offered on the previous features; Moto display, a new feature for notifications and updates has been included in this handset.
Design: Design wise quite similar to the high end phones such as Moto G and Moto X, the new second generation Moto E comes in vibrant new colours such as Red, Purple, Blue, Turquoise, Raspberry and Golden yellow.
For those who wish to use 3G or 4G internet from their mobile, the Unlocked 3G version and 4G LTE version is also available at a slightly higher price.
Pricewise quite economic, feature wise not so bad, though we would like to a flash for the primary camera; the second generation Moto E can be termed as a good choice when you are on a budget.
