Microsoft Surface Pro 4 could be Released this Summer. Microsoft seems to be coming of age in its line of product offering in the mobile device segment. The successes it made in turning around the fortunes of the Nokia brand seem to be helping it gain mileage in an entirely different segments – its tab / laplet products. The company is expected to launch the Surface Pro 4 shortly, and its fans are already weighing in the options.
The company has recently unveiled the Surface 3. It will be worthwhile comparing its new release against the existing device. It is expected that Microsoft will be offering the Surface Pro 4 in 2 sizes – a 12-inch and 14-inch version. Both the devices are likely to run on Intel Core M Broadwell processor, something that has popularly been used in the latest MacBook.

On the other hand, the recently launched Surface 3 has a 10.8-inch screen. It runs son a quad-core Intel Atom x7 SoC. The Surface series is an entry level device. On the other hand, the Surface Pro 4 is a relatively premium tab.
With 16GB memory and storage of more than 500 GB, the Pro 4 is clearly going to be miles ahead of the Surface 3’s 2GB/4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage configuration.
There have been no reports or rumors about the camera specifications of the new tab. But Microsoft will at least keep it at par with the Surface 3’s configurations. The existing tablet features an 8MP primary and 3.5MP secondary camera. For the Pro 4 to be a premium device, it is expected to have even better cameras.
According to various indications the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 could make it to the eagerly waiting fans by the summer. The company is also expected to release Windows 10 by that time.
